Cadiz Station is the main train station in Cadiz, a port city in southwest Andalucia. It hosts mainline train services to Sevilla Santa Justa Station. And from there you can continue to many other destinations across Spain including Madrid Atocha Station. Commuter train services are also available from Cadiz to Jerez Airport, which is the nearest international airport.

The train station is located in the north of the city close to the port. Facilities include a cafe, toilets, tourist information, car parking and car hire.

At around 3,000 years old, Cadiz is thought to be the oldest, continuously inhabited city in Western Europe. It’s also an interesting and lively port city that sits on a peninsula virtually surrounded by the sea. Highlights of the city include the cathedral and Cadiz Museum. The museum showcases art from famous Spanish artists as well as some interesting archaeological artefacts.

Beyond the city, the best way to get around this part of Andalucia and beyond is with a Cadiz Station car hire. Whilst Cadiz has some nice beaches, you’ll find more picturesque ones nearby such as those at Bolonia, Tarifa, El Palmar and Conil de la Frontera. If you’re interested in sherry, Cadiz is also just a short drive from sherry-making towns including Jerez de la Frontera, Sanlucar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Santa Maria.

As Jerez Airport is easy to get to from Cadiz, it’s another good option for car hire – particularly if you’re looking for a wider choice of suppliers. Many car rental companies also offer one-way rentals within Spain.
