Enjoy more with a Granada Station car hire

A Granada Station car hire is a great option if you’re in the city and want to explore more of the surrounding region. As the area is quite mountainous, having a car is a super convenient way to get around. And it’s definitely worth doing so. Southeast of Granada, you’ll find ancient hilltop villages in the Alpujarras such as Bubion, Capileira, Valor and Trevelez (which is famous for its jamon). The whitewashed villages are all the more striking against the lush vegetation that surrounds them. From some of them, you can also see the snowcapped peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains. With your own car, the marvellous beaches of Spain’s southern coast are easy to reach with beaches including those at Almuñecar and Salobreña are just an hour’s drive away.

As for Granada itself, whilst the magnificent Alhambra is the star attraction, the city has lots more to offer. Neighbourhoods such as Albayzin and Barrio Realejo are beautiful places to wander around. And Granada is one of the best places to experience two Andalucian traditions: tapas and flamenco.

15kms west of the city, Granada Airport is the nearest airport and also offers car hire. Don’t forget that many car hire suppliers in Spain also offer one-way rentals, which might suit trips covering more ground.
